This policy explains what VARA DJs LLC ("VARA DJs", "we", "us") collects when you visit varadjs.com or our booking pages, contact us, or book us for your event, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
What you send us
Your name, email, phone number, event date, venue, guest count, and anything you write in a form, email, call or text.
When you book
The details in your booking agreement, your planning choices such as songs and your timeline, and your payment records. Card payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
When you visit our sites
The pages you view, the ad or link that brought you, your device and browser, and an approximate location based on your IP address. These come from cookies and similar tools, explained below.
Calls from our Google ads
Our Google ads show a tracking number that forwards to our phone. Google records those calls after a short notice, and shares the caller's number, the time and length of the call, and the recording with us.
Photos and videos
With your permission, we may film a short testimonial at your event or ask you to send one.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry, schedule your consultation, prepare your proposal and run your event
- To call, email or text you about your inquiry and booking (see Text messages below)
- To see which ads and pages bring inquiries, and to improve our website and our ads
- With your permission, to feature your testimonial on our website, social media and ads
- To keep the records we need for tax, accounting and legal purposes
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help us run VARA DJs, and only what each one needs:
- HighLevel (LeadConnector): our customer-management, forms, calling and texting platform
- Google: advertising measurement, call reporting and Google Analytics
- Microsoft Clarity: website analytics, such as clicks, scrolling and how pages are used
- Vibo: the planning app you use with your DJ
- Our payment provider, our website host and our email provider
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Text messages
If you opt in to text messages, we use your number to text you about your inquiry, consultation and booking. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the providers that deliver our messages.
Cookies and tracking
Our sites use:
- The Google Ads tag: shows us which ads lead to inquiries, and can show our ads to people who visited our site before
- Google Analytics: shows how people find and use our site
- Microsoft Clarity: shows how people use our pages, through clicks, scrolls and session replays
- HighLevel: runs our forms and connects your visit to your inquiry
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, turn off personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. Our sites still work without them. Google explains its use of data at policies.google.com/privacy, and Microsoft at privacy.microsoft.com.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and client records for as long as we need them for the purposes above, including tax, accounting and legal requirements, and then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email wyatt@varadjs.com or call (518) 797-1891. We will respond as soon as we can, and within the time the law requires. Some states give their residents extra rights over their data. We honor these requests for everyone.
Children
Our services are for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and limit access to the people who need it to serve you. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Changes
If we update this policy, we post the new version on this page with a new date.
